● M.Sc. Yelyzaveta Kochneva I graduated from the undergraduate studies at the National University of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine at the Department of Mycology and Phytoimmunology, during which I participated in the monitoring of the composition of toxin-causing micromycetes in corn grain, which encouraged me to develop into research on the role of mycotoxins in the pathogen-plant relationship. I graduated from the University of Life Sciences in Wroc³aw, at the Department of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science. At this stage of my education, I achieved a number of laboratory techniques related to the basic analysis of feed. During my studies, I completed a number of field and professional internships, which was very important for me as for a novice scientist. I am currently a PhD student in the research group of prof. Anna Kulma at the University of Wroc³aw and I am investigating the role of apo-carotenoid compounds in the response of flax to infection with Fusarium oxysporum f. lini.
