● M.Sc. Marta Burgberger I completed both my bachelor's and master's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Wroclaw. The aim of my thesis, carried out in the Department of Genetic Biochemistry, was to study the effect of silencing the gene encoding beta-ketothiolase on flax resistance to fusariosis. Driven by my interest in increasing flax resistance to pathogenic infections, I decided to pursue my education in the College of Biological Sciences, where I began working on a project in which my goal is to determine the effect of flax colonization by a non-pathogenic strain of Fusarium oxysporum on the course of infection by pathogenic strains.
